We are Stewards of Creation

The 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly referred to as COP29, will be held from Monday 11th to Friday 22nd November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

We invite you to join us each day in prayer that we may all become
wise stewards of creation.

Faith in Action group, Ballineaspaig Parish

Thursday 21st November

Creator God,
Forgive the short-sightedness and greed
that has led to this situation,
the living for today with no thought of tomorrow,
and the obsession with material possessions
at the cost of spiritual values.
Forgive the massive divide between rich and poor
which it has served to create,
and which makes any prospect
of resolving the issues involved so remote.
We hold it in trust:
Teach us to be wise stewards of creation.
